The Epiphone Embassy Deluxe was originally manufactured at the Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan, between 1963 and 1969. More recently, Epiphone have made a new Embassy bass, though it bears no resemblance to the original. The Embassy Deluxe shipped in a lot smaller numbers than the Newport; roughly 5 to 1.
